Lowther Forestry Group – Flood Prevention Scheme
The positive effect of Tyla’s work can be measured in various ways with improvements to the water’s edge and bank […]
When dismantling a tree, a variety of rigging techniques can be used to move cut sections.
These techniques can range from using a single rope, wrapped round the trunk of the tree in order to add friction control to the descent of a cut section, to the use of more sophisticated equipment such as rigging blocks, pulleys and slings and other complex specialist devices. The loads generated are not easy to quantify and can vary dramatically however, here at Tyla we not only have the experience and expertise, but the confidence that we will do the job right – every time. We will assess all aspects of the job and how to undertake it competantly, assessing the mass of the section to be removed, the rigging set-up, the tree species and it’s condition.
